Memorial for victims

Written by Courtney Burridge

A Memorial tree has been planted in the grounds of Coal Clough Academy in memory of the victims in the Westminster terrorism attack. Students decided they would plant a tree in remembrance and to show support for the victim’s family and friends.

The tree commemorates the people killed in the attack and was planted April this year, in a flower bed near the staff car park, where poppies already grow.

Thoughtful messages of sympathy and support from students at Coal Clough now hang from the branches.
